About the Role:
The Behavior Interventionist will play a key role in supporting students with behavioral needs, implementing interventions, and promoting positive behavioral and academic outcomes. Youll collaborate closely with school staff, students, and families to help ensure a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct behavioral support services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or behavior plans.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and case records.
Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to implement behavioral interventions and monitor student progress.
Support student wellness, development, and academic achievement through positive behavioral strategies.
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations regarding behavioral services.
Qualifications:
Required Certification/License: Texas Behavior Specialist or relevant credential (if applicable).
Required Degree: Bachelors degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field.
Preferred Experience: Experience working in a school setting or with children/adolescents.
Required Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, organizational skills, and knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies.
