About the Role:

The Behavior Interventionist will play a key role in supporting students with behavioral needs, implementing interventions, and promoting positive behavioral and academic outcomes. Youll collaborate closely with school staff, students, and families to help ensure a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct behavioral support services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or behavior plans.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and case records.

  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to implement behavioral interventions and monitor student progress.

  • Support student wellness, development, and academic achievement through positive behavioral strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations regarding behavioral services.

Qualifications:

  • Required Certification/License: Texas Behavior Specialist or relevant credential (if applicable).

  • Required Degree: Bachelors degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field.

  • Preferred Experience: Experience working in a school setting or with children/adolescents.

  • Required Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, organizational skills, and knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies.
