A school psychologist opportunity is available for a California PPS credential holder to provide specialized psychological services within an elementary K-12 school setting. This position is based in Irvine, CA and is aligned with a contract for the 2023-2024 school year. The assignment involves maternity leave coverage from November 3 through December 19.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Develop individualized plans and interventions based on assessment data
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to support student learning and well-being
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with district/state guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to manage an assigned caseload effectively
  • Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology and educational interventions

Schedule and Caseload:

  • 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
  • Responsible for the caseload of one elementary school during the designated contract period
