As we continue to grow upon that legacy, we are looking for an experienced Training and Development Manager to build, deliver, and scale training programs across our organization. You will design curricula, lead engaging workshops, implement new learning initiatives, and deliver measurable improvements in performance, safety, and productivity. Prior construction industry experience is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess learning needs across field and office teams; identify skills gaps.
- Design, develop, and roll out training programs (in-person, virtual, blended) including safety, technical, leadership, and compliance topics.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and “train-the-trainer” programs; keep learners engaged and motivated.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure content is accurate, up to date, and relevant.
- Track and report on training outcomes—productivity, safety incident rates, time to competency, etc.
- Manage the training budget and resources; select and work with external vendors when needed.
- Oversee development paths for new hires; ensure consistency across locations/projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5-7+ years in training & development or learning & development, with strong experience in curriculum design, program implementation, and facilitation.
- Demonstrated experience producing measurable results
- Experience in construction or a similar technical / field operations environment preferred.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and group-engagement skills.
- Familiarity with adult learning theory and instructional design.
- Experience with LMS or eLearning tools a plus.
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in the Construction Industry is a plus
