Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic support to individuals and families, focusing on mental health and emotional well-being. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children and families, to facilitate healing and growth through various therapeutic modalities.
Duties
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing, EMDR is a plus.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that address specific needs.
- Provide crisis intervention and management for clients in distress, ensuring safety and support during critical moments.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and share insights regarding patient progress.
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques and provide case management services for clients with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote peer support and shared experiences among participants.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify mental health disorders and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Being open to the possibility to supervise associates
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in psychotherapy
- Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and experience working with individuals facing PTSD or other trauma related disorders
- Background in LCSW or LMFT
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, and experience with medical records management is essential.

Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Current and valid California LMFT license (or relevant state license) in good standing
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $70.00 - $100.00 per hour
