Job description

Licensed LSW: We are seeking a Part Tim, School-Based, Mental Health Counselor for the 2025- 2026 school year. Must have a valid LPC, LSW or Ohio Department of Education School Counseling License. Salary is based off of experience and days that will be worked in the school as a Mental Health Counselor.

• Counsels students regarding academic, educational, and short-term social and emotional problems in both group and individual counseling settings.
• Teaches guidance classes and provides guidance counseling to students through planned activities in small group or classroom settings.
• Develop needs assessment and implement an effective referral and follow-up process for students.
• Consult and collaborate effectively with parents and educators to assist with students who are identified for targeted interventions.
• Participate in professional development activities.
• Adhere to laws, policies, procedures and ethical standards of the school counseling and mental health counseling professions.
