Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual (English - Spanish) Clinical Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate expertise in various therapeutic modalities. This role involves providing psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals across diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. The Clinical Psychologist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Duties

  • Conduct psychological assessments to determine patient needs.
  • Provide individual and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychotherapy.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient requirements.
  • Offer crisis intervention services as needed for patients in acute distress.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage in research activities to contribute to the field of psychology and improve treatment methodologies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Provide telehealth services to increase accessibility for patients unable to attend in-person sessions.
  • Work with special populations, including individuals with autism, PTSD, addiction issues, disabilities, geriatrics, and pediatrics.

Skills

  • Proficient in child & family counseling techniques.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in various settings (school, outpatient).
  • Expertise in crisis intervention strategies.
  • Familiarity with inpatient care protocols.
  • Knowledge of psychological testing methods and behavioral health assessments.
  • Ability to conduct intake interviews and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Experience in addiction counseling and mental health counseling practices (a plus, not a requirement).
  • Experience in couple and family counseling and mental health counseling practices (a plus, not a requirement).
  • Understanding of social work principles as they relate to mental health care.
