Responsibilities
This position serves as the Grants Administrator in the Department of Psychology within the Florida State University College of Arts & Sciences directly supporting the work and research efforts of accomplished scholars.
In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)

What is a typical day in this position?
The Grants Administrator is responsible for the supervision and management of all contract & grant activities for the Department of Psychology. Activities include administering, tracking, and reporting of federal, state, local and private awards, assisting principal investigators with pre- and post-award initiatives and supervising the grants team staff.

Anticipated Salary Range
The minimum starting salary for the position is $58,500. Anticipated starting salary will be offered commensurate with experience and qualifications.

- Supervising, training, and managing a team of grants specialists.
- Advising faculty on pre- and post- award actions and working with them on budget development and submission, long term planning, and grant closeout.
- Acting as the lead grant coordinator for the development and administration
- Overseeing the initiation, approval, and audit of fiscal activities for contract and grant management of the Psychology Department.
- Interpreting agency/solicitation specific guidelines to grantees to assist in
- Reconciling fiscal activities for reporting purposes to ensure compliance with federal, state and university policies.
- Analyzing, verifying, recording, and tracking transactions (revenue, transfers)
- Serving as a liaison between faculty and appropriate University offices, as well as some external entities.
