This role offers an excellent pathway to begin or grow a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). A Behavior Technician will deliver individualized ABA programs, offering hands-on support to children and families either in their homes or in community outings, depending on client needs. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with flexibility available to suit personal circumstances. Compensation ranges from $22 to $27 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish are eligible for a higher pay rate.
Position Overview
The Behavior Technician will work one-on-one with children to help build vital skills such as communication, social interaction, and daily living routines. They will implement evidence-based strategies designed to reduce challenging behaviors and promote safety and independence. Ideal candidates will have prior experience working with children, working in ABA or related fields, or have completed coursework in psychology, education, social work, or similar disciplines. Success in this role requires reliability, patience, and a sincere commitment to helping each client achieve greater independence and an improved quality of life.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation with current car insurance listing the technician on the policy, and must pass a Live Scan background check. A negative TB test is also required. Candidates should display professionalism, creativity, and excellent communication skills, as well as be comfortable working as part of a collaborative team. The position also requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Incentive Pay Structure
- $1/hour raise after maintaining consistent availability for 90 consecutive days
- Additional $1/hour raise upon successfully earning RBT certification
- Additional $1/hour raise for completing the 40 hours of RBT training
Cancellation Policy
To protect staff time and earnings, we maintain a clear cancellation policy. Paid cancellations are provided for up to 2 hours of pay if a client cancels within 30 minutes or less of the scheduled start time and/or technician has already departed for the session. We also actively monitor and address excessive client cancellations to protect technician schedules and maintain consistent hours.
