About Job

Astor’s Counseling Centers provide therapy, psychiatric services, and family advocacy to youth (ages 0-26) and their families using a strengths-based approach. Our interdisciplinary team includes child psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, mental health counselors, and family advocates.

The Regional Director is responsible for the administrative functions of the outpatient clinics. They will be responsible for completing scheduling team meetings, weekly supervisions, assigning tasks or projects to the team members, facilitating trainings, ensuring appropriate documentation of cases, and assisting in the development and implementation of outcome measures for the program. The Regional Director will coordinate with program leadership in meeting with necessary personnel to ensure appropriate delivery of services.

You must have:

  • LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, or other licensed related fields.
  • 2-3 years of administrative, clinical, and supervisory/managerial experience.
  • 2-3 years with a clinical license in the respective field of practice.

You should have:

  • Be aware and of and sensitive to trauma-informed care and the cultural needs of the population of focus and how best to meet those needs.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Proven decisiveness, motivational, and developmental skills.
  • Management abilities, including meeting deadlines, ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures, and overseeing complete and timely maintenance of agency records.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities will be assigned based on cross-regional needs.
  • Ensures that productivity and documentation targets for team members are maintained.
  • Responsible for coordination and implementation of all OPC onboarding for
  • clinical staff.
  • Manages, reviews, and monitors maintenance of client records to ensure both
  • internal and external quality assurance standards and timely completion in
  • accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and management skills to ensure progressive,
  • positive development of OPC team members.
  • Works collaboratively with all teams throughout agency programs.
  • Provides direct supervision of Clinic Supervisors and Assistant Clinic
  • Supervisors.
  • Participates in weekly agency Suicide Attempt Review Calls, as needed.
  • Interfaces with families as needed in support of team members.
  • Maintains data and reporting structures as required by Office of Mental Health,
  • Department of Health, and Astor.
  • Participates in interviewing/hiring of new team members.
  • Collaborates with Front Office Manager to ensure front office needs are fulfilled.
  • Completes weekly, daily and monthly reports within expected timeframe.
  • Position attends to the need for a culturally diverse and sensitive clinical practice throughout every arm of the organization.
  • Collaborates with Family Advocate Supervisor regarding family driven care and referrals.
  • Completes special projects and assignments as needed or identified by the Regional Director or Director of Outpatient Clinics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary: $93,074-$102,357/yearly
