Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations
- Develop treatment plans based on client needs and goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Monitor and track client progress through data collection and analysis
- Offer crisis management and intervention when necessary
- Provide counseling and support to individuals with chronic pain or other medical conditions
- Conduct research in the field of psychology
Experience:
- Post-residency experience in clinical psychology
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Proficiency in conducting therapy sessions using evidence-based practices
- Knowledge of special education and accommodations for individuals with learning disabilities or developmental disorders
Skills:
- Strong patient care skills, including active listening and empathy
- Ability to collect and analyze data for treatment planning and evaluation
- Crisis management skills to effectively handle high-stress situations
- Proficiency in various therapy modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or psychodynamic therapy
- Experience in chronic pain counseling and management
