A healthcare network is actively seeking a compassionate Psychiatrist to join their team on a locums basis. The Hospital Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with mental health disorders.

About the Opportunity

• Schedule: Full-time, typically Monday-Friday; on-call possible
• Specialty: Adult Psychiatry

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and primary care providers.
• Participate in treatment planning and discharge processes.
• Maintain timely documentation in EMR.

• Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted state license.
• Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Preferred: Experience in hospital-based psychiatry or consultation-liaison.
