Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and support services to students facing personal, social, or emotional difficulties
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop intervention plans that promote student well-being and academic success
• Conduct assessments and individual or group counseling sessions as needed
• Connect families with community resources and support networks
• Maintain accurate records and comply with privacy laws and school policies

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Valid state social work license or certification applicable to school settings
• Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school environment strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with relevant laws, such as IDEA, ADA, and child protection regulations
