About Job

We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to conduct the in-person components of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) assessments for children and adolescents with autism and related developmental disorders. This is a contracted position that primarily focuses on direct observation, skill-based testing, caregiver interviews, and behavioral assessments, which contribute to individualized treatment planning and reauthorization reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-person assessments in the home setting.

  • Administer a range of assessment tools (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, Functional Assessments, etc.).

  • Observe and interact with the client to gather objective data on current skill levels and behaviors.

  • Conduct caregiver interviews and collaborate with stakeholders during the assessment process.

  • Submit assessment notes and collaborate with the supervising BCBA (if BCaBA) or treatment planning team.

  • Maintain professional, ethical conduct and adhere to BACB guidelines.

  • Travel within a defined region of Virginia to client locations.
