Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals and families. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to clients facing various challenges, including mental health issues, developmental disabilities, and trauma-related conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations of clients to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress or crisis situations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic support for clients.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment summaries.
- Engage in case management activities to facilitate access to community resources and services for clients.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and outcomes for patients.
- Provide education and support to families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Stay informed about current trends in social work practice, behavioral health, and relevant medical terminology.
Skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages preferred.
- Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques including crisis management, behavioral therapy, and addiction counseling.
- Experience working with diverse populations including children, individuals with developmental disabilities, geriatrics, and those experiencing PTSD or autism spectrum disorders.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient patient record management and data collection.
- Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies as well as CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10).
- Ability to conduct patient assessments effectively while demonstrating empathy and cultural sensitivity.
- Knowledge of special education resources and community care options available for clients with disabilities.

Pay: $28.90 - $50.00 per hour
