Behavioral Health Consultant (LCSW, Psychologist, LPCC) - Hybrid
Location: Hemet, CA
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (In-Clinic Monday & Tuesday; Remote Wednesday-Friday)
Compensation:
  • Psychologist: $110,000 - $160,000/year DOE
  • LCSW/LPCC: $95,000 - $130,000/year DOE
    Signing Bonus: $10,000

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Consultant to provide integrated behavioral health services in our Hemet clinic. This hybrid role allows you to work directly with patients in the clinic on Mondays and Tuesdays and remotely the remainder of the week, offering flexibility while maintaining a strong patient connection.

You will support patients and primary care providers through brief, targeted psychotherapy, assessments, and care planning, contributing to a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver short-term psychotherapy to children, adults, and families based on primary care referrals.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing behavioral health assessments and develop care plans.
  • Identify social, emotional, and economic factors affecting patient care.
  • Provide crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and "warm hand-offs" in coordination with medical providers.
  • Collaborate with primary care teams and participate in case conferences and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate, legally defensible documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications
  • Education & Licensure:
    • Doctorate in Psychology (CA Psych License), or
    • Master's in Social Work (CA LCSW License), or
    • Master's in Counseling (CA LPCC License), or
  • BLS Certification (AHA) required.
  • Minimum 2 years pre/post-licensure psychotherapy experience; child/adolescent experience preferred.
  • Experience in health-related psychotherapy (e.g., stress, chronic illness, smoking cessation).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
  • Competence in electronic medical record systems and multitasking during sessions.
