Do You Want to Change the World One Behavior at a Time?

Are you interested or have experience in working with young children from 0 (birth) to 3 years and elementary school-age?'

Welcome to the Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis (IABA)—where science meets heart! We’re not your typical workplace. We’re a global movement on a mission to transform lives, replace restrictive practices, and bring a whole lot of creativity and empowerment into behavior support.

Our secret sauce? Training inspired by the groundbreaking work of Drs. Gary LaVigna and Tom Willis’ Multi-Element Model and Multi-Element Behavior Support (MEBS™) paradigm. Here, you’ll learn to:

  • Spread the Word: Share the MEBS™ philosophy to eliminate restrictive practices around the globe.
  • Get Creative: Replace outdated treatments with innovative, inclusive, and life-enhancing approaches.
  • Be a Trailblazer: Use MEBS™ to create brighter futures for individuals, families, and entire communities.

What You’ll Do:
As our newest BCBA, you’ll:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (think detective work with a purpose).
  • Design and implement person-centered plans rooted in the magic of the MEBS™ model.
  • Coach and cheerlead your team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
  • Train families, staff, and caregivers to rock those behavior plans like pros.
  • Use data to drive progress and celebrate every victory—big or small.
  • Help us spread the MEBS™ love far and wide, transforming lives one intervention at a time.
  • Weekly Billable hours to complete: 25
  • Location: San Diego County - includes North to South
  • Client schedules: Sessions start from 8 am - 7 pm
  • Telehealth supervision: Imperial Valley clients that require support (50%)

Your Profile:

  • BCBA Certified (active licensure required)
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or other related field.
  • You know how to design interventions and have the creativity to make them truly life-changing.
  • Passionate about inclusive, person-centered approaches (bonus points for being fun and adaptable).
  • You love data, teamwork, and the occasional celebratory high-five.

Why You’ll Love Us:

  • Competitive salary ($90,000 - $97,000 DOE).
  • Relocation package available
  • A benefits package as solid as your intervention plans (health, dental, vision, you name it).
  • Exclusive MEBS™ training to make you the behavior support rockstar you were born to be.
  • Opportunities to grow, learn, and make a global impact.
  • Hybrid and remote work options (work-life balance!).
  • A team of amazing, like-minded change-makers and support system.

How to Apply:

Let’s replace restrictive practices with empowering solutions and make behavior support FUN. Join us at IABA—where your work doesn’t just change lives; it changes the world!
