About Job

We’re seeking a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at CLC Behavioral Health, LLC. This role is perfect for an NP currently working in an inpatient setting, dual diagnosis treatment center, or Crisis Stabilization Unit who’s looking for a less acute side opportunity. The ideal candidate will bring experience in pediatric psychiatry, along with compassion, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. We’re looking for someone who values collaboration, enjoys working in a supportive environment, and is excited to grow alongside our mission-driven practice.


Qualifications

  • Master's degree in nursing required
  • Graduate of an accredited graduate program in psychiatric mental-health nursing
  • ANCC Board certification
  • Valid Massachusetts Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing
  • 2-3 years of experience as a PMHNP and able to practice independently
  • DEA license
  • Comfortable prescribing for a spectrum of mental health disorders
  • A qualified candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal communication, conflict resolution and organizational skills
  • A strong passion for helping those who suffer with a mental illness and are able to provide respectful, empowering and compassionate care
  • Must be willing to uphold the mission of the practice as well as Nursing code of ethics.

Essential Functions & Duties:

  • Perform psychiatric evaluations for patients of all ages, with a primary focus on children and adolescents.
  • Prescribe medication in an effort to reduce mental health symptoms and make adjustments, as needed
  • Develop treatment plans based on assessments
  • Maintain working relationship with patient and/or family while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Maintain effective working relationships with collaborative leadership teams and interdisciplinary health care teams and appropriate community providers
  • Document in the electronic medical record in a timely manner
  • Be willing to participate in workshops, networking events, and community outreach as part of practice growth

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $90.00 - $110.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
