The Senior Patient Care Coordinator (Breast Imaging & Diagnostic Imaging Scheduler) is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service, and adhere to Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical, and service goals.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PST. May require flexibility to work Saturday shifts, depending on business need.
Locations: Onsite at 1145 Broadway St. Seattle, WA with float coverage required at 9709 3rd Ave. and 904 7th Ave., as needed.
May be required to travel for coverage at other locations, as needed

Primary Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for our patients. Sets the tone for a positive experience
- Exhibits empathy, courtesy, competence, efficiency and care
- Schedules appointments and procedures, following standard guidelines
- Uses Multiple computer and phone systems to fulfill patient needs over phone
- Verifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
- Advises patients of their responsibilities regarding insurance and referral information
- Checks in patients for breast imaging and/or diagnostic imaging
- Answers phones for breast imaging and/or diagnostic imaging departments
- Makes outgoing calls for breast imaging and/or diagnostic imaging from a phone queue
- Reschedules patients, as needed
- Film library duties, including pushing and receiving images and requesting imaging medical records
- Travels for coverage at other locations, as needed

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting or medical field
- Willing and able to travel to multiple locations for coverage
- Reliable transportation
- EMR (Electronic Medical Record) experience
- Knowledge/understanding of CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
