Overview
Aya Education has an immediate opening for a Travel Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Carpinteria, CA. This role involves delivering high-quality behavioral therapy services to students on a travel basis, with a focus on providing life-changing care while supporting your professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide BCBA-level behavioral assessment, design, implementation, and supervision of behavior analytic interventions for students.
- Travel to placement sites as needed and coordinate with school teams to ensure effective service delivery.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to support student progress and minimize challenging behaviors.
- Monitor and document progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and program quality standards.
- Advocate for clients and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders to support positive outcomes.
Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Eligibility or ability to obtain any necessary state licenses for California practice.
- Experience in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, or related areas, preferably with school-aged populations.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to travel to multiple sites and manage a schedule that supports a 40-hour workweek with afternoons available; weekends off where possible.
Compensation and Benefits
- ***** $1,650–$1,833 per week.
- Options to extend, convert to permanent employment, or transition to another role after the contract.
- Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws; accrued at 1 hour per 30 hours worked.
- Benefits such as housing stipend or company housing options (pets welcome), medical/dental/vision and life insurance starting Day One, and 401(k) with company match where applicable.
- Relocation and licensure reimbursement when applicable. Pay includes taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements.
