Job Description:
We are seeking an APCC or AMFT to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about mental health and SUD treatment, possesses strong clinical skills, and is eager to grow professionally in a supportive setting. This role involves providing individual, group, and family therapy while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapy for clients with mental health and substance use challenges.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on relapse prevention, coping skills, and emotional regulation.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with agency policies and state regulations.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other team members to coordinate client care.
- Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing training to enhance therapeutic skills.
- Adhere to ethical and legal guidelines as outlined by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and relevant licensing boards.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active registration with the California BBS as an APCC or AMFT (or equivalent for other states).
- Experience or strong interest in mental health and SUD treatment.
- Familiarity with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
