About Job

Live Tampa Bay is a coalition of business, faith, and philanthropic leaders who have joined together with traditional frontline professionals to achieve a vision of communities where no life is lost to addiction. Established by the Tampa Bay Partnership with start-up funding from the Florida Blue Foundation, this coalition focuses on convening partners, providing reliable data and best practices to partners, collaborating across sectors, advocating for common sense policy and funding changes, and educating ourselves and our communities.

· Provide naloxone as requested to community partners to support overdose reversal efforts.

· Coordinate for the placement & education of ONEboxes with businesses in Pasco/Pinellas Counties.

· Model the delivery of (peer-based) recovery support and/or navigation services to individuals post-overdose.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Services, Social Work, Criminal Justice or related field, OR one (1) year related experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Preferred certification in recovery peer support (CRPS).

· Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license.

· Consideration for this position requires a criminal background and E-Verify® check.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Compassion for people who experience addiction or are in recovery.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to be a self-starter, work independently and as part of a team.

· Knowledge of community resources, employment programs, behavioral health agencies, social service agencies or groups, which may assist individuals seeking recovery or treatment services.

· Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

· Self-directed time management and organizational skills.
