Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our team in Morgantown, WV. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including psychiatric assessments, psychotherapy, medication management, and advanced interventional treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato. You will lead and supervise a team of Advanced Practice Providers within a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting, contributing to the overall growth and innovation in mental health care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management for adult patients.
• Provide psychotherapy to patients as part of comprehensive mental health care.
• Supervise and mentor Advanced Practice Providers (e.g., PMHNPs/PAs) in delivering psychiatric treatment.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure high-quality care.
• Participate in innovative treatments such as TMS and Spravato to offer patients the latest in psychiatric care.
• Lead by example in promoting evidence-based treatment methods and ensuring patient-centered care.

Requirements:

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Psychiatry.
• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
• Completed or nearing completion of an accredited residency program in Psychiatry.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of West Virginia.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Interest in interventional psychiatry, including TMS, Spravato, and other advanced treatment methods is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced interventional treatments like TMS or Spravato is highly desirable.
• Enthusiasm for leadership and supervising a team of providers in a clinical setting.
