Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to individuals and groups, focusing on mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide psychotherapy services, including cognitive behavioral therapy and clinical counseling.
- Offer addiction counseling and support for patients dealing with substance use issues.
- Conduct psychological testing to assess cognitive functioning and emotional well-being.
- Work with children and families to provide counseling services that address behavioral health concerns.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients, including those with disabilities.
- Engage in outpatient therapy sessions, providing ongoing support and resources for patients.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of addiction counseling techniques and practices.
- Proficiency in clinical counseling methods and behavioral health interventions.
- Experience in psychological testing and patient assessment processes.
- Ability to work effectively with children, families, and individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with maintaining medical records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret assessment results and develop treatment strategies.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
