Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our hearing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients by providing exceptional administrative support and facilitating communication between patients and providers as well as submitting insurance information. This position requires a strong understanding of medical office etiquette and office operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records efficiently.
- Provide information to patients regarding services, procedures, and insurance coverage.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Coordinate with providers to facilitate patient care and follow-up appointments.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage correspondence in a professional manner.
- Assist with billing processes and verify insurance information as needed.
- Support the administrative functions of the office, ensuring smooth operations.
- Preparing bank deposits.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a insurance billing and/or a medical office setting is required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and staff.
- Proficiency in office software applications and administrative support functions.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
Salary: $22-25 per hour
