Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant to join our team. This role begins as part-time, with the opportunity to transition into full-time as our practice continues to grow. The ideal candidate has experience in psychiatry, is detail-oriented, and values collaborative patient care.

This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for children, adolescents, and adults
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management
• Collaborate with supervising/collaborating physician and the clinical team
• Document care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
• Communicate with families, therapists, and other providers as appropriate
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and professional standards of psychiatric care

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant license in Michigan (required)
• Current DEA license (required)
• Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Psychiatry preferred, but not required
• Prior psychiatric or behavioral health experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and clinical documentation skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, collaborative care

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate: $50–$65 depending on experience (part-time)
• Opportunity to transition into full-time salaried role, equivalent to $104,000–$135,000 annually
• Flexible scheduling within clinic hours
• Benefits eligibility if transitioned to full-time
