Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Your primary focus will be to enhance the quality of life for clients by promoting positive behavioral changes and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs). This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, data collection, and collaboration with families and other professionals.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA therapy plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Work directly with children and individuals with autism to promote skill development and behavior management.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support client goals.
- Provide training and support to families regarding behavior management techniques.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training related to behavioral health.
Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral therapy or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities or autism.
- Knowledge of special education practices and principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, care plans, and documentation standards.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding in all interactions.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
