Be the voice of support and advocacy for those in need and make a difference where it matters!Now Hiring: Part-Time Licensed Social WorkerLocation: Palo Alto, CASchedule: 13 weeks, Thursday and Sunday Shifts, 2x12's (10a-10p), cannot exceed 24 hours per weekKey responsibilities:Develops and implements patient management plans, including the coordination of referrals to specialty and social servicesManages assigned caseload. Prepares and maintains records and makes written and oral reports to document case activity concerning patient care, counseling and therapeutic activities in accordance with department, hospital, medical center and/or health system policiesProvides supportive counseling, grief counseling, crisis intervention and other appropriate therapeutic services to assist patients and families in coping with presenting symptoms and problemsQualifications:Minimum 2 years' experience, covering ED and peds mental health is requiredActive LCSW - Licensed Medical Social Worker - in CAAHA BLS certification requiredMaster's degree in social work from an accredited college requiredPay Breakdown:$56 per hour (taxable)Pay Details: $56.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
