Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A full-time school psychologist position is available to support middle school and preschool students within a K-12 educational setting in Des Plaines, IL. This contract role, spanning the current school year, offers a 35-hour workweek focused on providing comprehensive psychological services and 504 plan management.

Key responsibilities include managing a caseload primarily consisting of approximately 50 504 plans at the middle school level, alongside conducting psychological evaluations and collaborating with educators and families to address student needs. This role demands strong organizational skills and the ability to provide tailored interventions to support student success.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Hold an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement
  • Experience working with K-12 populations, including middle school and preschool students
  • Proven ability to manage caseloads related to 504 plans and perform student evaluations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff
