A K-12 school in Gresham, OR is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential support throughout the current school year under a contractual agreement. This role offers the opportunity to impact student success by addressing their psychological and educational needs in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student mental health and academic performance.
- Assist in crisis intervention and offer strategies for behavior management within the school environment.
- Facilitate workshops or training sessions for staff and parents on relevant psychological and developmental topics.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines related to school psychology services.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations.
