Seeking a Bilingual School Psychologist to support early childhood education in Escondido, CA. This contract position offers a flexible schedule with 8-16 hours per week, working 1-2 days, including the option for evening work from home. The role focuses on preschool-aged children, providing psychological services as needed on the caseload.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in school psychology
- Bilingual proficiency is required
- Experience working with early childhood populations preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for preschool students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services tailored to young children
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state regulations
- Participate in meetings and offer guidance on behavioral and learning strategies
Location: Escondido, California, with some work performed remotely in the evenings
