Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


This full-semester contract position is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to provide in-person support at a K-12 school serving middle school and preschool students. The role begins ASAP and will continue through April 2026, involving a 35-hour workweek.

Responsibilities include conducting initial and reevaluations for students with disabilities at both the early learning center and middle school levels. You will manage 504 plans for the middle school, which encompasses evaluations and facilitating ongoing 504 reviews. Additionally, you will assist in developing functional behavior assessments and corresponding behavior intervention plans. Collaboration with the social work team is essential to effectively complete problem-solving processes addressing academic and behavioral challenges. Participation in the Multi-Tier System of Support (MTSS) framework is also a key component of the role.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement
  • Experience working with preschool and middle school students
  • Proficiency in conducting special education evaluations and 504 plan management
  • Knowledge of functional behavior analysis and behavior intervention strategies
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with Multi-Tier System of Support processes
