A dedicated professional with expertise in school psychology is needed for a full-time role supporting K-12 students in Friendswood, TX. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the current school year, offering a meaningful opportunity to impact student success through comprehensive psychological services within a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and testing for students across grades K-12
- Write detailed reports based on assessment results
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement intervention plans
- Manage a K-12 caseload, addressing diverse student needs through evidence-based practices
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) certification
- Previous experience working within a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Position Details:
- Full-time commitment, 37.5-40 hours per week
- Contract duration: ASAP until the end of the school year
