A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist providing telehealth services to K-12 students within a school setting located in South San Francisco, CA. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive psychological assessments, interventions, and support remotely, ensuring students receive timely and effective mental health services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments via telehealth platforms
- Providing consultative services to educators, parents, and administrators regarding student needs and interventions
- Developing and implementing individualized behavior plans and support strategies
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommendations
- Maintaining detailed documentation in accordance with school policies and legal requirements
- Supporting crisis intervention and mental health promotion efforts remotely
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Valid school psychologist credential or license appropriate for K-12 settings
- Demonstrated experience conducting telehealth psychological services
- Strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, and behavioral interventions
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff remotely
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and sensitivity
- Familiarity with educational laws and regulations affecting psychological services
