Responsibilities Include
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary students (TK-5)
- Writing detailed reports and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participating actively in IEP meetings, school-site team meetings such as COST and SST
- Providing leadership and guidance to the special education team at the school
- Supporting additional private school evaluations and assisting other school psychologists two days per week
Desired Qualifications And Experience
- Licensed School Psychologist credential with experience in K-12 educational settings
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing IEPs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with school teams, families, and external providers
- Leadership ability in guiding special education teams and contributing to school-wide initiatives
- Familiarity with California state educational policies and special education law
