A bilingual school psychologist is needed to provide specialized psychological services within an early childhood educational setting in El Cajon, CA. This contract position supports preschool-aged students by conducting assessments, collaborating with educators and families, and delivering tailored interventions to promote developmental and learning success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in school psychology
  • Bilingual proficiency essential for effective communication with diverse student populations and families
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
  • Ability to manage a flexible caseload with caseload size adjusted as needed
  • Strong collaboration and consultation skills with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Location and Schedule:

  • Position located in El Cajon, CA within an early childhood school setting
  • Part-time commitment of 8 to 16 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling: 1 to 2 days per week, with the option to work some evenings remotely
  • Contract duration aligned to current school year needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and monitoring plans
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and families
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements
