About The Job

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit at Duke Raleigh Campus. Our 28-bed multidisciplinary ICU provides care for patients with neuro, neurovascular, cardiac conditions, neurosurgery, liver & renal, sepsis and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Nursing Care: Independently plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures.
• Patient Services: Provide nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the scope of the RN as defined by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Clinical Decision Making: Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures.
• Team Leadership: Delegate tasks and supervise the activities of other licensed and unlicensed care providers.
  
  

Requirements:

• A current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• A minimum of twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is preferred.
• A BSN degree from an accredited program is required.
