General Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading individual and/or group counseling sessions, including life space counseling/girls circle.
- Assists in transporting client to and from program and program activities.
- Serves as group leader for the day-to-day supervision, safety, and general well being of the youth attending the program.
- Informs Director/Program Manager of all "at risk" situations and incidents and completes incident reports as required.
- Plans and leads all group activities for assigned group.
Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent required. BS or BA degree in human services preferred.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Weekend Alternative Program Counselor I normally required.
ADA: Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills
