Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing behavioral interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients. The BCBA will collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure effective support and care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions using applied behavior analysis techniques.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to caregivers, teachers, and other staff on effective behavioral strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records and treatment notes, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients with disabilities.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.

Skills

  • Proficient in behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis methodologies.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism.
  • Strong data collection and analysis skills for monitoring client progress.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and working effectively within educational settings.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and record-keeping standards.
  • Ability to conduct patient assessments and develop tailored intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families, clients, and team members.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in patient care.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Work Location: In person
