Job Details:
Job Title- Social Worker
Location - Beverly, Massachusetts, 01915
Shift - Days with weekends 8-4:30

No Locals within 50 miles, Only travellers

Required:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Current Massachusetts Social Work licensure (LCSW/LICSW)
  • A minimum of one year related experience in a hospital environment and/or with transferable skills that apply to a fast-paced and high-urgency setting
  • Ability to triage crises and collaborate/coordinate with collateral agencies
  • Experience with protective services, child welfare, long term care, crisis intervention, chronic illness, hospice care, substance use disorders and psychiatric illnesses a plus
  • Active MA license required

Skills/Qualifications:
Familiarity with use of electronic medical record such as EPIC
Individual case management and knowledge of managed care
De-escalation/restraint management techniques
Motivational Interviewing and short-term treatment techniques
Brief family interventions as needed
Strong ability to assess and evaluate patient needs and develop treatment plans to address the identified needs.
Good communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced work environment
