Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychotherapy and be skilled in various therapeutic modalities. This role involves providing mental health counseling to individuals, couples, and families, with a focus on promoting emotional well-being and fostering healthy relationships. The LMFT will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in both office and telehealth or home settings.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy services utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing.
- Facilitate individual and family therapy sessions, focusing on crisis intervention, behavioral therapy, and child & family counseling.
- Engage in case management activities, including data collection, medical documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with complex needs, including those with developmental disabilities or autism.
- Implement crisis management strategies to support patients experiencing acute distress or trauma, including PTSD care.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical research and best practices in mental health counseling and behavioral health.
- Provide home and community care as needed to support patients in their natural environments.
Experience
- A valid LMFT license is required.
- Experience working with children and families in various settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with clinical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical documentation practices is essential.
- Previous experience with couples, SUD and EMDR advantageous.
- Willingness to provide Clinical Supervision to AMFTs if credentialed with BBS or willing to obtain Clinical Supervisor credential highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals facing addiction or behavioral challenges.

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
