Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, with a focus on crisis intervention and behavioral health. This role involves providing support and guidance to individuals and families facing various challenges, including addiction, child welfare issues, and workforce development. The Social Worker will work collaboratively with clients to develop effective treatment plans and facilitate access to necessary resources.

Duties

• Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and develop individualized service plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and management for clients in urgent situations.
• Offer addiction counseling and support for individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavioral changes.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns in social work practices.
• Collaborate with community organizations to connect clients with resources such as housing assistance (including Section 8) and childcare services.
• Advocate for clients' rights and assist them in navigating healthcare systems, including Medicare.
• Participate in workforce development initiatives to help clients gain employment skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in compliance with regulatory standards.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
• Proven experience in crisis intervention, behavioral health, and child welfare is essential.
• Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques is preferred.
• Supervising experience is a plus, particularly in mentoring new social workers or interns.
• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding the complexities of addiction counseling.
