Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will play a crucial role in providing support and implementing behavioral therapy strategies for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This position requires a commitment to improving the quality of life for clients through effective behavior management techniques and personalized care plans.
Duties
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and enhance their daily functioning.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors to track progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Provide support in teaching social skills, communication, and coping strategies.
- Work collaboratively with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and care plans, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors effectively.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy.
Requirements
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and behavioral health principles.
- Familiarity with special education practices and patient care standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to collect data accurately and maintain detailed records of client progress.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health services.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.50 per hour
