Duties include, but not limited to:
- Provides clinical and administrative supervision, clinical oversight, training and mentoring for assigned staff.
- Supervises clinical and care coordination activities ensuring clinical programming supports the Terros Health’s whole person whole health philosophy, is in accordance with state and federal regulations and meets licensure/accreditation standards.
- Ensures compliance with budgets and coordination of clinical and primary care services with the purpose of improving the overall health of patients under the site’s purview.
- Builds a strong team and leverages their individual and collective skills and experience to achieve critical business results. Clarifies each person’s responsibilities and priorities to ensure a productive work environment and provides regular coaching to help them develop skills and knowledge needed
- Partners with Clinical Managers from other sites throughout the agency to build working relationships and collaborate on initiatives that improve business, staff, and patient needs
- Serves as a liaison between Terros Health and external stakeholders to ensure quality clinical care for the patient and contract compliance, including, but not limited to, subcontracted partners, child welfare and justice court systems, ACC and other health plan payers, etc.
- Provides and documents clinical and administrative supervision, clinical oversight, consultation, and mentoring of daily clinical operations for staff. Ensures that the needs of patients are being met and that services are delivered as outlined in each patient’s assessment, Individual Service Plan, and in stakeholder contracts.
- Serves as an expert regarding evidence-based practices and monitors delivery of quality clinical services to patients utilizing evidence-based practices. Monitors staff training and evidenced based service delivery and documents this regularly in clinical oversight or supervision documentation
- Monitors and hold staff accountable in achieving contract compliance and deliverables according to the stakeholder contracts by conducting regular quality and compliance reviews of all supervisees and provide coaching and suggestions for improvement. This is accomplished through consistent clinical supervision, chart reviews, patient surveys, regular monitoring of staff performance and other activities to ensure excellent patient services.
- Understands operational and financial requirements for implementing a strategy and monitors staff production to ensure that productivity metrics are met by all employees to support agency financial needs and goals, per the current Terros Health productivity policies and procedures
- Interviews, selects, and trains employees and/or interns to ensure department objectives are met with low turnover and high retention rates
- Manages staff and intern performance through effective, regular, and timely feedback, including regular one-on-one meetings and timely completion of performance reviews, and holding employees accountable for meeting deliverables and following Terros Health’s values and policies and procedures
- Models behavior in alignment with Terros Health’s values that inspires change, demonstrates flexibility, and engages employees

Must possess a Master’s degree in a related discipline, i.e. MA, MC, MSW, Arizona behavioral health license (other than LBSW)
Must pass background check in accordance with Terros Health and DCS requirements including, but not limited to, no restraining orders within the last 10 years.
Must pass DCS Central Registry check without any disqualifying events.
3 to 5 years’ experience or equivalent combination of experience and education;
Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting preferred
Independently licensed clinician preferred.
Must have ability to perform First Aid or CPR as necessary and appropriate.
Knowledge in use of Electronic Health Records - NextGen a plus.
Experience working with diverse populations
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
Must pass a TB Test, Drug Screen and Background Check
Knowledge of DSM-IV, DSM-V and SMI diagnoses, psychopharmacology, substance abuse, addictions, recovery, relapse prevention, and 12-step treatment philosophy.
- Knowledge of the principles of cultural competency and adherence to its philosophy.
