Location: Northwest Dallas/ Farmers Branch area
Schedule: 7:45m-4:15pm, Monday through Friday!
What To Expect:
- Complete the RBT 40 hour training course within your first 2 weeks of employment
- Work one on one with kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder and use appropriate clinical procedures based on each client’s treatment plan and under the direction of a BCBA
- Support acceptance of neurodiversity, provide assent based care, and listen to the wants and needs of your clients
- Display empathy and compassion for all clients, families, and members of the Galliant team
- Effectively communicate with and seek clinical direction from your BCBA in an ongoing and timely manner.
- Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and workplace data collection, storage, transportation, and documentation requirements. (shorten to HIPAA)
- Respond appropriately to feedback and maintain or improve performance accordingly.
- Maintain professional boundaries with all stakeholders
- Attend and participate in all required meetings and be on video while attending virtual meetings, especially during supervisions
- Collaborate with your team members, ask questions, and learn as you go
- Build positive professional relationships with the clients’ families to collaborate in support
- Collect ongoing data on client’s performance throughout sessions
- Write objective session notes including, but not limited to, targets, progress, and areas of need in daily notes
- Effectively communicate with families regarding their child’s progress in accordance with directions from the BCBA
Who You Are:
- Aligned with creating excellent clinical outcomes for our clients and improving the satisfaction of their family lives
- Believes the best ABA therapy is focused on individualize care and working with clients within their support system
- Passionate about working with children and display a strong level of comfort in helping children
- Demonstrate a high level of flexibility to meet patient needs
- Must be able to bend, scoop and lift
- Must be able to meet all other physical requirements to keep clients safe
- Must be able to transition from sitting to standing with ease
- High school diploma or higher
- Drivers license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid or ability to obtain one (company will pay)
- An RBT certification is also good to have but if you do not have one we will help you obtain the RBT certification within the first 8 weeks of employment. We will also cover the cost of the training and testing!
- Professional or volunteer experience with special needs, teaching, or general childcare

Application Question(s):
- Do you have a high school diploma or GED that you could provide to the company? This is required in order to get certified as an RBT.
- This role requires consistent availability and attendance from 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, as we schedule clients 6 months in advance and therapist changes disrupt a child's progress. Are you able to consistently work these hours over the next 6-12 months?
- Our clinics are open Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. While this is a variable hours position where your daily and weekly schedule may change based on client needs, our company actively works to maintain as much consistency as possible for our employees. We schedule within the availability you provide and do our best to keep your days, times, and hours stable week to week. However, we cannot guarantee specific daily and weekly hours due to potential client cancellations and availability changes that are outside of our control. Are you comfortable with this approach where we prioritize schedule consistency but flexibility is needed?
- What specifically interests you about working as a Behavior Technician with children with autism, and what do you hope to gain from this role?
- Do you have reliable transportation to get yourself to and from work daily?
- The starting pay range for this position is $18-19 per hour with opportunities for pay raises every 6 months at your performance evaluations. Are you comfortable with this starting pay range?
- This role requires taking data on tablets during client sessions and completing online training modules. Are you comfortable using tablets to collect data while working with clients simultaneously? Also, do you have access to a computer or laptop to complete our online training modules?
- This role involves consistent physical activity including bending, lifting, and quickly moving between sitting and standing throughout the day. You'll also need to respond quickly if a child tries to leave the area or engages in unsafe behaviors. Are you able to meet these physical requirements consistently throughout your workday?
