Job Overview
Brown Bear Early Intervention Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis and experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. As an ABA Therapist, you will be responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing support to clients and their families in a therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of clients with developmental disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles.
- Provide direct patient care to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior modification.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
- Educate clients and their families about strategies to support development and improve quality of life.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation techniques related to developmental disabilities.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other related conditions.
- Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis methodologies.
- Background in special education or related fields is highly desirable.
- Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients' needs.
- Ability to maintain detailed medical documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
