Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) to provide behavioral health services in a correctional setting. Under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Services (BHS) supervisor, you will deliver group and individual therapy to justice-involved youth within the facility. Your clinical expertise and detailed documentation will support the youth’s treatment team and promote positive mental health outcomes in this unique environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate group treatment sessions for youth with court orders or clinically assessed behavioral health needs in a correctional facility.
• Conduct individual, one-on-one therapy sessions for assigned youth on the mental health caseload.
• Prepare clinical summaries and progress reports identifying youth progress and barriers within the correctional context.
• Ensure meticulous and timely completion of all required documentation in compliance with facility standards.
• Collaborate closely with the BHS supervisor and multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) credential issued by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy to adolescents, preferably those involved with the justice system.
• Ability to work effectively in a secure correctional environment with youth.
