Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will live in Jersey city.This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients. The BCBA will also be responsible for data collection and analysis to ensure effective treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive skill development.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on findings.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including medical records and patient assessments.
  • Provide training and support to staff members on behavioral health practices and interventions.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field of behavior analysis.

Experience

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst is required.
  • Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those diagnosed with autism.
  • Strong knowledge of special education principles and practices related to working with people with disabilities.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, intake processes, and diagnostic evaluation procedures is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
