About Job

The Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking a psychologist to join the Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) team in pediatric primary care to support expansion of our clinical services. The Pediatric Primary Care Clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic including psychologists, pediatricians, care managers, social workers, pediatric and psychologist trainees, and legal aid.

Responsibilities for this position include providing diagnostic clarity, short-term therapy for common behavioral and mental health concerns, and crisis stabilization. These services are provided across the pediatric lifespan to a patient population that experiences high levels of poverty, trauma, and health-related social needs. The position also requires a focus on training and education of pediatric residents, program development, and quality improvement. There are also academic and publication opportunities available for interested applicants.

The ideal candidate will have completed a doctorate in clinical, counseling, or school psychology (APA accredited), be licensed or license-eligible in Ohio, and have completed postdoctoral training focused on evidence-based trauma care treatment or integrated primary care. Candidates from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.

Interested applicants should send a CV, letter of interest, and three letters of recommendation to Avani Modi, Ph.D. via Breya.White@cchmc.org. Please reference job #202759
