Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist | Part Time | Northern California | Hybrid

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, or Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist with Child Psychiatry experience, to provide psychiatric care to youth in residential treatment programs located in Northern California. This role offers a flexible schedule, meaningful clinical impact, and the opportunity to work in a growing, supportive environment.



Program Details:

• 12 adolescent beds, 12 young adult beds


• All patients are Child & Adolescent in residential treatment settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations for new admissions (required within 24 hours of admission)


• Provide ongoing medication management and psychiatric follow-ups (flexible schedulingcan be completed within 12 days of your choosing each week)


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive care planning


• Maintain documentation in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards


• Flexible weekday schedule for follow-ups


• Preferred: Availability for 12 weekends per month to manage new admissions only


• Onsite presence in California with flexibility for telehealth for intakes

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry


• Board Certified or Board Eligible General Adult Psychiatrist with Child Psychiatry experience


• Active medical licensure in California


• Experience in residential or inpatient settings strongly preferred


• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
