Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing behavioral therapy to improve the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement and monitor behavioral interventions based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data to track client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Provide training and support to families and caregivers on implementing behavior strategies at home.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in intake assessments and contribute to the development of patient care strategies.
- Stay current with best practices in behavioral health, special education, and medical terminology.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Proven experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis methodologies.
- Proficient in data collection methods and patient assessment practices.
- Familiarity with medical records management and documentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in patient care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $85.00 - $105.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
